Hello..  It's Sept 3rd... Day After My Birthday.....  Happy Birthday to ME....

OK  So a day late.....  Ron and I were on the road coming home from Jen's...  We had a Wonderful time with our New Grandson and two Grand daughters.  It was hard to leave...

So today I spent Cleaning, Mowing, and Laundry.  Been a long day already.

BUT was Able to enjoy Fresh Corn and Tomatoes from my garden.  (The deer didn't eat it all).

Good to be HOME.....

Ron has meetings so I plan to enjoy another Garden dinner...  Going to be like Cathy tonight.  No Meat..  Just Fresh Veggies... MM MM good.

So I'm sure you want to know about my trip.  So here's the low down.

I let Wednesday Morning, after going to the fair to see how I did.  

Which I did pretty good.  8 blue ribbons on my sewing, the garden stuff took mainly Red and White.  Baking, Blue Red and white... 

In All... I made 120.00  Not bad.  PLUS I got the Green Thumb award Plaque.  So that's exciting.

So that's 15.00 dollars.

OK On with my trip...  I drove straight thru.. No time for Shopping.  And just stopped for Food and Gas.  Only one Stop at that.

Got to Jen's at 8 30 that evening.

So exciting to see my new Grandson.  He's SO CUTE.  Lots of Dark hair.  And he loves Grandma.

For the next 10 days ,  I was Able to make a swim suit for Brooklyn, two Pirate Costumes, do some mending, Played Pool, took girls to the park, and enjoy time with my Daughter.  

We also enjoy a night out at the Texas Road House.  Food was GREAT.

(So much for my diet.)

Ron flew in on Friday,  I had a long lost cousin stop by, and Jared came up for the week end, and on Sunday we Blessed little Jay.  It was a Great  Vacation that's for sure.

SO Let's see if I can load some pictures on the blog.  Wish me luck.!

Just Thought I'd show you what I've been up too.....  Most of my time has been in the garden.  We are Enjoying Cucumbers, onions, peas,potatoes and squash.  The Deers are Enjoying Pumpkins, beans peas and beets tops...  Nice of me to share.... 

Ron took me fly fishing in July....  I did catch a few... Nothing to brag about... as you can see.

And That's me playing Disc golf.  Which is alot of fun... and Don't cost a Thing....

Been a Great Summer...  Hate to see it come to and end.  Hopefully when Ron retirer's in one year we will enjoy it more..... Time will tell....  

Aug 15th,  We spent the Day Floating the CDA River.   It was a Hot and Cold Day.....  In the 90's on the weather..  But the water  It could had ice floating with us..  Felt good at time's.

Fun day... but just a little to long on floating.

We all Got Color..... Plus new scratches.  Just a Few Branches and Logs in the river to get around.

Bob and Cathy are getting ready to leave.  Late start for them.  Hate to see them GO..... Been a Great week.  

Except for being Sick...  Ron thought it was pretty funny when he left for Denver as I'm dying...... He not laughing now... He came down with it last night....  Bob and I was laughing now......  Don't worry..  only 24 hours and you will be feeling better...

Hopefully I'll be able to add pictures..  We'll See.....

It's Thursday.  Aug 14th.  The month is Half over with Almost.

I'm enjoying my time with Bob and Cathy.  This morning we played 17 rounds of Disc Golf.  Bob came in First...  Cathy  Second and Course that brings me in with LAST.  But we had a fun Morning.

Cathy was going to take me to Get my hair done when the Car Wouldn't Start.  Glad we were home.  Just needed a battery.  So All is well.

I'm Young again..... Y E S

Ron left Yesterday for Denver... He'll be back on Saturday.

Bob and Cathy are planning on leaving tomorrow.

So For One day I'll have the house to myself.

Hopefully  tomorrow... we plan to float the River.....  IF everyone stay well's.

Hello!

Congratulations to Jappy and Jen on their new baby Jay Brent Jeppsen!  He was born today at 1:51pm their time, weighing in at 7lbs 6oz and 20 3/4 inches long!  Mom and baby are doing well and we can't wait to meet our new grandson next week!

Here I am hanging out with my boys (2 of the 3) when they were up here earlier this summer.
