Here's my pumpkin patch. I was kind enough to share with the deer. They left me a few. How kind of them!
Going to a Mariner's game. This is taken in front of the Coast Guard Station. Wish Ronny was stationed HERE.
Cathy was able to come to the game. Got there at the 6th inning. Only to sleep thru the rest of the game. Missed out on the double play. WE WON!
We canned corn after the game. Not sure we should had trusted Cathy with a knife. She didn't get much sleep last night.!
Fall is the fun time. I got to dug up the potatoes. It was like the slot machines. Lots of treasures in the ground . BUT sometimes you hit a Big one.....

WE ARE HOME....
Ron and I made a fast trip to Seattle. Was able to spend the week end with Bob and Cathy. And even took in a Mariners Game. WHICH they WON... It was an afternoon game. So kind of messes up the whole day.
We did fit in a nice lunch out, PLUS dinner. Just nice to be with Bob and Cathy.
Cathy wasn't able to get to the game until the 6th innings.. Course she also slept thru the last 2 innings.
Didn't want her behind the wheel, so I drove.. We made it home in one piece.
Then we worked on canning corn. They got 12 pints. So some corn in the freezer and I didn't have to do it by myself.... or them.
Cathy did very well with a knife I might add.
We got home around 6 tonight... Sunday. Very long drive. When I got to Spokane I needed a pepsi to stay awake. Boy did it do the job....
I'm still awake.!!!
This coming week I'll be working on the garden, getting it done for the winter.
Hopefully I'll be able to get pictures done tonight... or tomorrow.
It was nice to get away. Even if it was for just the Week end.

It's Sunday afternoon.... Just up from a short nap.
It was a busy week-end. We decided to have a garage sale. Not the best turnout for it. But we got ruined of some STUFF... and made money at it too. The Biggest hit was the canning jars. I got ruin of about........15 doz's. WE had a lot of Jars. Still have plenty for me to can with.
Tomorrow I'll be canning corn. I hope this will be the last of my canning.
We still have a mess outside.... and I'm hoping it will all be gone by Tuesday. Ron has a meeting tomorrow night.
We did haul a truck load to St Vinnie's. And I have 6 tubs for the barn. Nothing is coming back in the house.... I'm doing better.
It was SAD to see some stuff go.
BUT While going thru a box I found a Jean Jumper that I'm Thinking I can fix in now. How Exciting is THAT.....Ron will be SO Trilled ....
SAD Part.. we Sold the little Fire truck we got for our Grandkids. Hard to let it go. But I did get a picture of it. At less I have that.
Ron Finished the Green house Saturday. So that job is done. Just need to get the grass up and put rock down. That's another day!
We are Getting much needed rain... Been raining all day plus last night. This way we don't have to change pipes . I LOVE IT!
Life is good.
Last week I was Release from my RS Calling . IT's Been a wonderful Week. And for the First time in 9 years Ron and I went to church together, and Came home, Together. I love it.
I Didn't have to eat alone today....
Looking forward to the Sunday's to come.

Our morning started early. We decided to work on the green house before it rains or snow. This will be nice when done. Plan to get back to starting our flowers and veggies. Plants on the south side. And we will store our mower, little tiller, and tools on the North side. Make it closer to the garden.
So Hopefully we will get better use out of this green house. Time will tell.
TODAY WAS THE DALTON GARDEN'S PICNIC. WHICH IS ALWAYS FUN TO GO TO. PLUS I DIDN'T HAVE TO COOK. JUST A DISH TO SHARE. NOT AS MANY PEOPLE AS IN THE PASS. STILL A NICE TIME. KOOTENAI FIRE ALSO TAKE A BIG PART IN THE CELEBRATION.
THEY SPRAY THE KIDS WITH THE LADDER TRUCK. THEY LOVE THIS. TRIED TO GET RON TO RUN THRU.. HE SAID AFTER ME...... RIGHT

HELEN, JOHN AND MARICELA CAME FOR A VISIT. NICE SURPRISE! MARI BELONGS TO MIKE AND DEBBIE NELSON. I THINK SHE LOOKS SO LIKE MIKE. SHE HAD A BALL RUNNING UP AND DOWN THE HILL. AND CHASING DUNCAN AND JACK. HELEN CAME BY TO GET A COSTUME FOR HER. COURSE I COULDN'T FIND THEM. ONLY THE DOGGIE ONE FOR NOW. I NEED TO CLEAN OUT A BASEMENT. NEXT WEEK.

Today is Sept 11 Ron got the day off. So we decided to enjoy our First and Last day on the boat. Pretty sad to pay for insurance and License and not use the boat... But we enjoy ourselves today. It was a beautiful day. Did we get in the water??? Let's just say.. I put my feet in.. VERY COLD
I Love where we live.. Nice to enjoy the beauty around us.. But Sad to see how its built up. And Not with Small homes. But Very LARGE Homes.
Summer is coming to a end... But the Sun is still HOT. Ron and I both got Color today. We'll feel it tomorrow.!
This is the beach we always took the kids too. They learn to ski off of this beach.. There's a house on the land now... VERY SAD

Laura wanted me to Know how old I was.... How Nice of her... Thanks a lot... But we have enjoyed my 55....It's made out of Rice Crispy cookies...
This is Berta, and She didn't make me a Birthday CARD! Berta is the Queen of card making and I got No CARD!
Last Friday was was taken out to lunch for my Birthday. There was 7 of us. Paula, Jackie, Karla, Berta, Sandy , Laura, and me of course. What a fun lunch! Nice gifts, good food and Just to be able to visit with my dear friends.
Can't get any better then that...
